How can I find royalty-free images to illustrate my campaigns?

Updated on April 21, 2025

The results of your email campaigns depend on many parameters.

The visual quality of your message is part of it: in addition to giving a professional image of your company/organization, a visually successful campaign will encourage your recipients to take more positive actions (clicks, forwards…) that will further improve your sender reputation and therefore your results.

But not everyone has the skills of a graphic designer. You then have two options:

  • Hire a professional: this is the ideal solution, unfortunately, it may require a time and money investment that you may not be able to afford.

  • Design it yourself: this is the most economical solution, but it requires that you be assisted in your approach by quality tools so that you don’t spend all your time on it (it’s probably not your job!).

For the first option: contact our design service!

For the second: no worries, we’ve got you covered :-) OxiMailing has many tools such as, for example:

  • its template gallery (customizable templates)

  • an integrated image editor (resize, crop, edit images directly from OxiMailing)

  • access to a library of several hundred thousand royalty-free images.

This article will focus on the latter.

Royalty-free images?

When you insert images into your creations, you must ensure that you have the rights to use them. Some images, distributed on the internet for example, are subject to usage restrictions. You may not have the right to use them in your creations, especially if they have a commercial purpose!

The solution: royalty-free images. These images can be used in your messages without any particular constraints (even for commercial publications).

How does it work?

Thanks to a partnership with Pixabay.com, we allow you to access a database of several hundred thousand images for free!

To use it, it’s very simple. An example in the Responsive editor:

  • Insert a block containing an image (single image or column block).

  • Click on the pencil-shaped image.

  • Select “Image Library”.

  • In the search area, enter some criteria and choose the image that suits you!

You can then edit the image as you like using the editor!
