Is it possible to unblacklist an email address?
Updated on April 21, 2025
Yes, of course.
To do this, go to the “Account” menu (at the very top) then “Blacklist”.
Select the address from the list and then delete it (press the “delete” key or right-click and choose the delete option).
💡 Tip: you can search for an address by right-clicking in the list and then selecting “Search” (or click on the pencil icon in the toolbar).
⚠️ Attention: Always keep a record of the subscriber’s resubscription request, it must be explicit, written (email…) and dated. This way, you can justify sending new emails to the address from which you unsubscribed.
Cases of spam complaints:
However, in the case where blacklisting is a result of a spam complaint, removing the address from the blacklist will have no effect.
Whether the spam report is intentional or accidental, double-listing the complainant’s address in both the blacklist and red list (non-editable) prevents any risk of recurrence of complaints against the sender. Allowing emails to be sent again to someone who has previously filed a spam complaint could lead our email service provider partners (Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL…) to believe that complaints received through their feedback loop are not being handled in accordance with our commitments.
It is - among other things - the strict management of spam complaints received that allows us to offer you an optimal deliverability level.
